Pork & Chicken
Our livestock are not certified organic, but all animals are hand cared for and given access to our certified organic pastures. Hogs eat culled vegetables produced on our farm, in addition to grass and grain. Chickens are given ample space to run, scratch and receive plenty of sunshine along with certified organic grain. Beef graze on lush pastures and during the winter months eat harvested hay along with culled carrots, beets, turnips and squash. There is no waste of vegetables or hay as each animal does its share of work for us!

Each bundle consists of an assortment of ground pork, fresh roasts, pork chops, ribs, fresh ham steaks, and bacon (MSG-free).

Chickens come whole and are freshly frozen. The average weight is between 5-7 pounds. Chickens eat organic grain, graze on bugs and grass, walk/run freely in the sunlight, and have shelter from the rain and hot sun. They are a fun batch to watch grow from a baby chick to a deliciously plump eating bird. Our young boys love the chickens and help care for them each day. Call or email to reserve your birds.
Beef Bundles: Spring butchered, grass-fed steers are now available! Contact the farm to arrange for delivery to one of our pick up sites (starting June 13)

How do I order a Meat Bundle?
You don’t need to be a CSA member to order our meat. Please write down the type of meat, the size of bundle and which CSA pick-up site you’d like and give us all your contact information. We’re working to get a separate meat order form created and will load that to our site soon.
2013 Pork Delivery:
We estimate our pork bundle delivery to be on Thursday, November 21, but will confirm this date once animals are finished to our liking. We deliver directly to your selected pick-up site (note that a few sites are excluded). A statement of funds due will be mailed along with the exact date of delivery sometime in October. But we also announce the delivery date in our weekly newsletter and directly on the website, so check the website as fall draws near to be sure you haven’t missed anything! Chickens must be picked up directly at the farm, we can not deliver these to a pick-up site.
