Yahoo! Gotta love Green Garlic and Salad Greens

The first week of CSA begins. Overall it’s been a muddy harvest this week While we’ve been needing the rain, now we need it dry so we can catch up on transplanting and seeding. We had 4 days of dry beautiful conditions, and tragically both tractors were down with mechanical issues. While very frustrating, we turned attention to much needed weeding and mulching. With first CSA harvest complete and the boxes packed, we’ll turn attention to more mulching and greenhouse work and hopefully some transplanting on Thursday. All in all we are sitting really pretty good we have a lot of seeds in the ground, we have been holding our own against the weeds.
