Beef & Pork
Our livestock are not certified organic, but all animals are caringly raised on lush pastures. Cattle are grass-fed, raised on lush pastures and high quality hay. Hogs eat culled vegetables produced on our farm, in addition to grass and grain.

Each bundle consists of an assortment of ground pork, fresh roasts, ribs, smoked ham steaks, and bacon (MSG-free).

Chicken: $2.50 per pound * Estimated Availability: Starting July 2012, on-farm pick-up only.
Chickens come whole and are freshly frozen. The average weight is between 5-7 pounds. Chickens eat organic grain, graze on bugs and grass, walk/run freely in the sunlight, and have shelter from the rain and hot sun. They are a fun batch to watch grow from a baby chick to a deliciously plump eating bird. Our young boys love the chickens and help care for them each day. Call or email to reserve your birds.
How do I order a Meat Bundle?
Download the 2012 brochure, complete the order form (you don’t need to be a CSA produce share member to order meat), mail the order form and payment to the farm. We ask for a 25% down payment to reserve your bundle. The remaining payment is due prior to delivery. To reserve chickens, please contact the farm.
2012 Delivery:
Pork bundles will be delivered sometime in the late fall (October/November) once animals are finished to our liking. We deliver directly to your selected pick-up site. A statement of funds due will be mailed along with the exact date of delivery. But we also announce the delivery date in our weekly newsletter and directly on the website, so check the website as fall draws near to be sure you haven’t missed anything! Chickens must be picked up directly at the farm, we can not deliver these to a pick-up site.
